“Malaysian police arrest five at funeral march”

That is the headline for Malaysian MSN when I opened the browser today.

I’m not shock because there was whole bunch of policemen near and around UMMC alone yesterday when I went there. I supposed the policemen were present throughout the way to the dead man’s funeral. There were rumours yesterday that the dead body will be paraded around town to show how brutal and corrupted the Malaysian police are – what a stupid joke!

I can understand the rage of the family and I can understand the dissatisfaction of several ‘groups’ regarding the matter of death in custody, and I think that the AG is right to further continue the probe as death in custody is no small issue. However, I cannot understand why the dead man was hailed as such a hero, where in reality he was actually a luxury car theft – if not, how can he lead the police to discover the stolen vehicles? At the same time, the police force was put in such a bad light that we might need another force to guard our security. Private security firms, anyone? I also cannot understand why we must affiliate the police force directly with the government? Police force is in their own identity. They are not obliged to follow any directive from the legislative. Ok, their salary is paid by the goverment, but they receive their own orders. If not, are we going to directly pay the police force by donating money into any ‘tabung’ in front of the police station? I doubt people will do that because we Malaysians are well known for our ‘kedekut habit- no matter what races or social class we come.

The stupid large procession did made life difficult to everyone else. Not many people want to be part of this stupid march. We just want to continue our so-called normal life. Our life is already messed up with this economic recession, and we don’t want to further complicate this. I need to get out early from UM yesterday to pick up my wife because I did not want to be stuck in the traffic jam secondary to the march. To do that, I need to quit early from my group discussion and missed the last chunk of the discussion. Who knows what was discussed during my absence might come out in the exam. If I cannot answer the question, can I blame it on this so-called ‘groups’? Maybe other people need to rush to sent their family to hospital with their own car, then was not able to reach the A&E in time at the patient’s condition deteriorated, so who can they blame? The hospital obviously, because this so-called protest group will dissappear into thin air.

I really hate demonstrations, marches, protest etc. It only makes life more difficult. It does not bring better life. You can get noticed and be popular through demonstration, when it only disrupt the life of ‘insan-insan marhain yang lain’.

Lastly, I cannot understand the so-called ‘unfairness of the government towards the people, especially the Indians’. Why is Indians feel they are the only group being marginallised? What about the Malays who are still living in the dump? What about those Chinese that still selling pirated goods for living? Are we not unfairly treated as well? Every community is given a chance to upgrade their lives by the goverment. But unfortunately every community produce their own self-created problem that continue to halt their progress: Malays with their lazziness and drugs problems, Chinese with their gangsterism and the Indians with their alcoholism and suicide (at least they are the majority of suicidal attempt cases I saw in hospital). So, must we still blame the government? “Tuhan tidak akan merubah hidup sesuatu kaum itu selagi mereka sendiri tidak berusaha merubahnya” So the question is: “Has we tried everything to change our life to the better before blaming someone elese?”

It’s a typical Malaysian thrashing

Here is one of the quote I took from Susan Loone’s  “may the truth save us all”. It’s about what we should expect when Datuk Seri Najib becomes the next prime minister in couple’s of month’s time:

Ultra-racism and feudalism”

“I will defend the supremacy of the Malays until the last drop of my blood if I win the mandate of the delegates to become the next Umno president at election to be held in March 2009. This is the solemn promise I made to my late father before he died”.

Why is those sentences being described as ultra racism and feudalism? Is it wrong to say and pledge that someone is going to defend his/her race supremacy as much as he/she can?

I think it’s his/her own responsibility to protect own’s race pride.

I don’t understand why there will always be fuzz and buzz when someone who’s a Malay brought up the idea of protecting the Malay’s supremacy. It’s always being pictured as if the Malays are going to do something bad and harmful to the other races when we bring out that kind of topics.

Protecting the Malay’s supremacy is not only about protecting the ownership of the Malays onto this land (that’s what being talked about – the Malays being the master of this land). It’s also about maintaining the survivability and increasing the competency of the Malays in facing the in-coming unpredictable future. It’s about increasing the awareness of the Malays that they shouldn’t be relaxing on their laurels when the whole world (not only about the other races in Malaysia) moving forward.

Some people always try to use these kind of objectives/aims to plant fearfull feelings in others proud citizens of this beloved land. Accusations start to being thrown that the Malays will try to protect their mastership of this land by hook or by crook. This again will be blown larger when these kind of statements came out from a Malay leader. For no apparent reason, the leader will be branded as being racist etc.

What do these kind of people who kept on challenging the Malays’ rights want? Is these a kind of provocation to make the Malay wake up in an unnecessary way? Majority of the Malays can and want to live side by side with the other citizen of Malaysia. We also want to have friends from the other races, but on top of that, we also want to be as successful as the other races, hence we need our leader to sound up our aims.

I really don’t know why is it so racist when a Malay want to uphold and maintain the Malay’s supremacy, but it’s still ok when the other non-Malays voiced out their discontent and unfairness?

I still believe this land is the best land to live and die for.

kisah lama berulang lagi

I had a good laugh last sunday when I read in a mainstream newspaper that Anwar Ibrahim was accused of sodomising another man in his life again. It was nearly 10 years ago when the first accusation cropped up.

I was a matriculation student at that time, fresh out of the same alma matter Anwar walked around, and still fulled of the ‘speret koleq’!!! I really thought that those accusations of sodomy, corruption and abuse of power was created to stop a promising old boy from holding the top job in the government. But, as a good university student would be (I was not yet in the actual institution at that time), I declined to prominently show which side I supported, just hoping that Anwar would be the on right side.

Blah blah blah ……. then he was convicted of the corruption, jailed ….. the sodomy charge was thrown out of court due to inconsistencies of the prosecution although ‘there are signs of his sodomy activities’. So, is he a gay? or heterosexual? I prayed for him to be well ‘oriented’.

But, now, another guy (whom I think jambu gak la) accused him of another sodomy charge. Wallawey! Is Anwar having a second/or third/or forth etc bite/s in his life? Maybe he ‘tangkap shiok’ tengok a lot of jambus around lending their assistance during the election? Huh, I don’t know.

And he’s now counter attacking by saying that he’s being framed by top goverment officers!

Hah, come on la! Other people has another worthwhile job to do than to frame him about the sodomy thingy. I can’t see why somebody still want to bring him down. Ok la, brother want to ‘topple’ the government – but using sodomy to block the attempt is such a stupid if not dirty political moves.

Get a life la bro!

Is he having persecutory delusion? It seems to me like a fixed, false belief that somebody powerful wants to harm him.

Is the family, acquaintances etc having folie-a-due?

Antipsychotic, anyone? Maybe not yet full-filling the DSM-IV criteria

Well, these a just my opinions.
